Tyler's Comment Wall

I was in the Dome on Sunday as the Saints pulled out an impressive victory over the division-rival Falcons (or, Dirty Birds as I prefer to call them). Coach Peyton was clearly happy to see Pierre Thomas prove himself capable of carrying the load that once belonged to Deuce McAllister, whom many suspect is in the process of playing his last few games in a Saints uniform. This impressive performance by Thomas contributed to a rare good day on the ground for the Saints, who have thus far mostly relied on the passing attack to move the ball. Because of the run-heavy play calling, Drew Brees fell nearly 100 yards short of his season average (and NFL leading) 322 yds/game. Nonetheless, he managed to lead his team to victory in a game which went down to the last drive. This will be a tough week of practice, for we only have three days until we leave for our Thursday night game in Chicago.
